TRYOUT WITH THE KILLER BEES
New 16U Team
The 16U Killer Bees tryouts will be held on Thursday August 8, from 6-8 pm at Kleinman Park in Mesa.
This team will be coached by Mike Kaff and Rob Reedy. Neither one will have a daughter on the team. Rob's daughter is attending New Mexico State University on a scholarship to play softball. Mike's daughter will be attending Michigan State this fall after receiving a scholarship for softball. The 16U team will be traveling to CA this fall. This summer we will be out of state four times including one of the most prestigious recruiting tournaments in the country. This tournament is the Independence Day Tournament in Boulder, CO. http://www.bouldersoftball.org We will try to take the team with the Gold team when possible and play in the same tournaments where age allows. Gold Team
Tryouts for the 2012 - 2013 Killer Bees Gold Team will be held on Wednesday August 7, at Kleinman Park from 6 - 10. The Killer Bees Gold Team has a strong reputation for competitive play, and has participated in the PGF National Championship Tournament for the past 4 years (since the inaugural championship).
The Gold team travels to CA showcase tournaments on a regular basis in the fall. This season may include a trip to Orlando. During the summer, they also travel to Boulder, CO for the highly acclaimed recruiting tournament, the Boulder IDT. The team will continue to be coached by Mike Grimaldi.
